Free PDF tools that never upload your file

Your file never leaves your computer — nothing is uploaded. Every tool below works inside your browser tab. Files up to 200 MB.

Why these tools do not upload anything

Most free PDF websites work by taking your file: you upload it, their server processes it, and you download the result. That means a copy of your contract, invoice or manuscript sits on someone else's computer for a while, under someone else's retention policy. These tools do the work in your browser instead. The code arrives with the page; your PDF is read from your own disk into the tab, processed on your device, and handed back as a download. There is no upload step, so there is nothing for us to store and nothing to delete.

It is also why they are free. Processing on our side would cost money for every file; processing on yours costs us nothing. The pages carry a few advertisements, like the rest of our guides, and that is the whole business model.

How they relate to Toombler

Toombler turns a PDF in your Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive into a page-flip flipbook you can embed on your website. These tools fix the things that most often stand in the way: a file that is too heavy to open quickly on a phone, a document that arrived in five parts, a catalogue that needs only its spring section published, or a long report without bookmarks, which means no Contents menu in the flipbook. Fix it here, put the file in your cloud storage, and create the flipbook.

Frequently asked questions

Are the PDF tools really free?
Yes. There is no account, no watermark and no daily limit. The work happens on your own device, so it costs us nothing to offer.

How can I check that nothing is uploaded?
Open the network panel of your browser's developer tools while you use a tool. You will see the page and its scripts load, and no request that carries your file. You can even disconnect from the internet once the page has loaded.

Do the tools work on a phone?
Yes. Choose the file from your Files app or cloud storage app. Very large documents work best on a computer, because a phone gives a browser tab less memory.

Do I need a Toombler account?
No. The tools work without signing in. You only need an account to create flipbooks.
