Every flipbook made with Toombler is unlisted by default. It does not appear here, and search engines are told not to index it — the link keeps working for anyone you send it to. Appearing in this gallery is something you switch on yourself, per flipbook, and most people never do. A price list for dealers, a school newsletter, an invitation with guest names on it: none of those belong on a public page, and the default should not quietly decide otherwise.
So this is not a measure of how much Toombler is used. It is the handful of publications whose makers decided the whole world could read along.
Each entry opens as a real page-flip book in your browser: two pages side by side on a wide screen, one at a time on a phone, with the links and the table of contents from the original PDF still working. Nothing is installed and nothing is uploaded — the file itself stays in the maker's own Google Drive (Docs and Slides included), Dropbox or OneDrive, and is fetched from there while you read.
That last detail has a visible consequence. If a maker replaces the file at its source, the flipbook here shows the new version without anyone touching this page. If they delete it or make it private again, the flipbook stops opening the same day.
Create a flipbook from a PDF you have shared as “anyone with the link”, then switch it to public in its settings. It appears in this list, and it becomes eligible for search engines. You can switch it back at any time; it disappears from here immediately.
Before you do, two things are worth checking. Make sure you have the right to publish everything in the document — photographs bought under a print licence are often not cleared for the open web. And remember that a public flipbook is genuinely public: anyone who finds it can read every page and, unless you turn that off, download the PDF.
There is no ranking, no view count on display, no follower list and no algorithm deciding what rises to the top. The newest publications come first, and that is the whole of it. Toombler has no audience to offer you — it is a viewer for a file you already have, not a publishing platform you join.
