Invitations your guests open on their phone

Turn an invitation PDF into a flipbook with its own link — one per guest if you want, with their name and table number on it.

Invitations your guests open on their phone

A paper invitation costs money to print and post, and an image in a group chat gets lost within a day. A flipbook gives every guest a link that opens straight in the browser: no app, no download, and it still looks like a card rather than a document.

It works for a single invitation shared with everyone, and just as well for a personal copy per guest.

Who it's for

One invitation, one link per guest

Most invitation tools give you a single link for everyone. If your design already has room for a name — "reserved for you, table 19" — you can give every guest their own:

  1. Make the invitation in Canva, Word or InDesign with the name and table number as fields.
  2. Use a mail merge to export one PDF per guest into a Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive folder.
  3. Set the folder to "anyone with the link", and create a flipbook for each file.
  4. Send each guest their own link over WhatsApp, SMS or email.

Every link is separate, so you can see how many guests actually opened theirs — useful when the RSVPs are slow.

Frequently asked questions

Can each guest get their own invitation?
Yes. Make one PDF per guest with a mail merge, put them in a shared folder, and create a flipbook for each. Every guest gets a link with their own name and table number on it.

Will my invitation show up in Google or in the gallery?
Only if you mark it public yourself. Flipbooks are unlisted by default, which is what you want for an invitation carrying guest names.

Do my guests need an app or an account?
No. The link opens in any browser on any phone, tablet or computer. Nobody has to install or sign up for anything.

Can I stop the link working after the party?
Yes. Set an expiry date in the flipbook settings and it stops opening after that day.

Is there a limit on how many I can make?
You can create up to 200 new flipbooks per account per day, which covers a large guest list in one sitting. For a bigger list, spread it over two days.
